Why is the wrong store name shown in the SMS?

The sender name in an SMS can be at most 11 characters, and may only contain the letters A–Z and a–z and the digits 0–9. Spaces and special characters such as å, ä and ö do not work, and the name cannot start with a digit. If the store name is longer than that, it is cut off, for example “Stora Mat Ö” instead of “Stora Mat Östermalm”.

That is why you can set your own, shorter sender name for the SMS messages, without changing the store’s name in StoreSprint.

1. Go to ⚙️ → Admin → StoreSprint Connect → Settings.

2. Enter a shorter name in the SMS sender field, for example “StoraMat”.

3. Save.
