Åhléns expands StoreSprint nationwide after successful pilot

Following a successful pilot in the southern region, Åhléns chose to implement StoreSprint across its entire chain. The platform establishes a direct digital link between central functions and stores, streamlining operations, strengthening follow-up, and ensuring more consistent campaign execution.

In large-scale retail, the flow of information is substantial. At Åhléns, information about campaigns and operational activities was managed across several parallel channels, which meant considerable work in stores to prioritise correctly and ensure consistent execution. At the same time, daily store routines were documented manually, making follow-up and reporting back to head office more time-consuming.

To address these operational challenges, StoreSprint was tested as a platform for connecting head office directives with in-store execution. The pilot launched during the most intensive period of the year for retail, Black Friday, and following a successful outcome, a nationwide rollout to all stores was approved.

Better coordination between head office and stores

Åhléns now consolidates information, activities, and follow-up on a single platform for a clear, real-time overview of execution across the chain. This gives head office better conditions for driving initiatives throughout the chain, while stores receive clearer priorities and support in day-to-day work, without manual check-ins or extra alignment meetings.
