How to create and update user accounts
We’ve made an update to how accounts are managed in the system to make it easier to give the right level of access to the right people – whether they're using a shared device or need admin permissions.
What is an account?
An account is linked to a personal email address and is used by team members who wants to work on their personal device or need higher-level access – for example, to manage users, create tasks, or handle devices. Team members who don’t need an account can log in via a shared device – no email or password required. Perfect for something like an iPad at checkout.
This update means:
- Easier management of roles and responsibilities
- Making it easier for new stores to get started
